Phuket Aquarium (Cape Panwa): opening hours, ticket price and tips
Phuket Aquarium is a small public aquarium at the tip of Cape Panwa, in the south-east of the island, inside the Phuket Marine Biological Center. It presents the marine life of the Andaman Sea in tanks and an underwater tunnel; the details of the species were not checked against an official source. It is a one-to-two-hour outing, simple and inexpensive, useful on rainy days or for children. It is far from the main beaches.

Tips
- The sources consulted in October 2026 contradict each other on the price and no official site could be read: confirm the price at the ticket desk before buying. The ticket is paid at the entrance. The place is modest: do not expect a large aquarium like those in other cities. Combine it with a walk around Cape Panwa or a seafood lunch in Rawai; for another rainy-day idea, see the Trickeye Museum.
How to get there
