Trickeye Museum Phuket: opening hours, ticket price and tips
The Trickeye Museum in Phuket is a museum of optical illusions and trompe-l'œil paintings, in the same spirit as its South Korean counterparts: you pose in front of 3D painted sets so that the photo gives the impression of an impossible scene. It is in Phuket Town, on Phang Nga Road. It is an activity of about an hour, designed for photos with family or friends, especially when it rains. The museum is a commercial attraction: judge it as such.
Highlights
The 3D paintings
You stand in the scene (animals, sea monsters, instruments) to create the illusion; each room has floor marks to help you frame the shot.
The augmented-reality photos
A combined ticket with Aquaria Phuket is sold online and mentions an augmented reality (AR) part.
The themed rooms
The route is short; some reviews say the place is almost empty on weekdays.

Tips
- No official price could be confirmed in October 2026. An online reseller shows, for information, a combined Aquaria Phuket and Trickeye Museum ticket at around 9 USD per adult; compare resellers and confirm before buying. An online ticket is often cheaper than at the desk. Ask someone to take your photo: that is the point of the visit. For another indoor outing, see Phuket Aquarium; for a walk in the historic centre, read the old town guide.
How to get there
130/1 Phang Nga Road, Talat Yai, Muang Phuket (Phuket Town) Taxi, Grab or tuk-tuk from the old town or the beaches Scooter possible; parking to be confirmed
