Private transfer with Welcome Pickups. You book in advance at a fixed price, an English-speaking driver waits in arrivals with a sign, and the flight is tracked so the driver waits if you land late. Example seen on their site on 30 October 2026: a sedan for up to 4 people to Phuket Town from €30 (1 149 THB). If you travel alone, by day and with a light bag, the cheaper public option described on this page is usually better; the private transfer is worth it for a night arrival, a family, heavy luggage or a first visit.
Timetables are published by the operator on its Facebook page and LINE account (@PKSB).
Who it suits
The Smart Bus suits you if you have a small budget, little luggage and are not in a hurry. After a night flight, with children or lots of suitcases, a private transfer is simpler: on Klook it starts around US$14 to 19 depending on the town and vehicle, with 45 minutes to 1 hour between the airport and town. Tips
- Add an hour of margin: the Patong - Karon - Kata road is often jammed.
- Locate your stop on the map before boarding; the bus does not always drop you at the hotel.
- At night or very late, service is reduced: confirm the last departure.
