Old Town

This is the best choice for speciality coffee and brunch on foot: you hop between cafes between visits. Go in the morning, as many close late afternoon and do not suit an evening out. The town guide is Phuket Old Town, and to sleep there see where to stay in Old Town.

Kata and the coast

Beach cafes are worth it for the view and the breeze, not the wifi. Arrive before 10 am or after 2 pm in high season to avoid the crowd. For a day in Kata, see the Kata and Karon guide.

Rawai and Nai Harn

Sunday brunch, juices and big breakfasts after a run or a swim: see also where to run in Phuket. Places change quickly in this area, so check recent reviews.

Coffee and tasting

If you would rather taste something other than coffee, the Old Town street food tasting gathers 14 dishes in one visit; see also street food in Phuket.
