The seal and flag of Phuket province show the monument to the two heroines, Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Si Sunthon, who led the defence of Thalang during the Burmese siege of 1785 (ended 13 March 1785, after a month). The seal, ringed by a traditional kranok pattern, has been in use since 1985. The provincial motto: "Pearl of the Andaman, heavenly city of the south, golden beaches, two heroines, virtue of Luang Pho Chaem". Source: Wikipedia article read on 26 October 2026; the flag's colours are not described, to confirm with the province.
